Ramadanman - Bass Drums

Rama Damn Man!!!!!!!!!

This man is making quite abit of noise at the moment, so much racket in fact that I had to make up a rather shit pun on his name as the header for this little bit of "journalism".

The name of this bass music rogue is Leeds based Ramadanman. Everyone seems to be raving about this young producer with the likes of Benji B, Mary Anne Hobbs and Kode9 giving him their blessing. And what does he use to create this genre defying, groundbreaking music?

The answer to that question is............... Fruity Loops. Just goes to show that abit of skill and imagination can go a long way.

He has already put out two of the biggest tunes of 2010 with Glut on Hemlock and the undeniable massive cross over tune of the year Work Them released on Swamp 81. And this geezer doesn't look like he's easing up with another bass heavy offering in the form of Bass Drums.

Bass Drums doesn't deviate far from his previous releases but if it ain't broke don't fix it. This track is to be included on a forth coming compilation by Soul Jazz Records aptly named Future Bass. The compilation includes tracks from the likes of Mala, Four Tet, Untold, and LD.

Future Bass is released on the 20 September.

Listen to Bass Drums below. Preferably loud and in a dark sweaty room if possible.
