Once I had a love and it was a gas, Soon turned out had a heart of glass
I present you with the one woman orchestra known as Glasser. I have heard of this young lady before but she really captured my lug holes today when I heard Home for the first time.
This is one of the catchiest experimental pop tunes I've heard in a long while (I've been humming it all day...) Her style reminds me of Kate Bush and Bat for Lashes. I know, they're all women and they're abit "out there" not too obvious Eddie!!! But that is my summary and I'm sticking with it.
I first heard of Glasser from a tasty little remix Jamie XX did for her track Tremel (which I purchased on a rather lovely see through vinyl I'll have you know). After touring with the likes of Jonsi, Delorean and The XX she is now releasing her debut Ring on September 28th via True Panther and from the tracks I've heard I reckon its going to be rather special.
There are some delectable debuts coming out this year by the looks of it and this will definately be one of them.
